Power
The last section addressed DISSIPATING power – or the ability of a certain part to get rid of the heat it generates by simply doing its job. Another aspect about Power is to make certain that you have enough of it to do the job you are asking your project to do. You CANNOT use a cell phone charger to run a 100 Watt amplifier, even though charger may say it supplies 12 Volts and the amplifier says it needs 12 Volts. YOU MUST pay attention to how much power the supply you are using can deliver.
